The dancing in the pop section was mostly
hip-hop, and it imulated the performers that the group was portraying.
The latin section had a lot of partner dancing, and it included a
lot of pelvic isolation along with some lifting of the girls. The
coutry section was a lot of line dancing type of stuff. The most technical
section was the divas section. It involved some turning and other
more technical concepts. |
There was a night show here called the Gate Show.
This was strictly hip-hop. I was a swing, so I was able to
perform both the regular part, and the DJ part. When I was the DJ,
I had free reign, and I could freestyle and do whatever I wanted to. The
DJ was the perfect role for me. The cast would also generally do 5 shows
a day and the night show was our 6th show. Again, I never tracked
or have missed a performance. I also have never been injured because
I keep myself in peak shape. * Me with my little sister after performing the latin section * |
